Since 1986, Danville Services has dedicated itself to serving people with disabilities at the highest level. We are a mission-driven company, focused on improving the day-to-day lives of our clients. Danville provides safe, cozy group homes that are staffed by our teams of direct support professionals. Danville also provides supported employment, supported living and day programs that offer a wide array of activities for our clients, including discovery trips, community access, event participation and physical rehabilitation. Danville clients are incredible people, each with their own dreams, desires, and goals. It is our honor to be able to assist them as they reach their fullest potential. By doing so, we see their self-worth and self-esteem rise. We call this “bringing joy to people,” and we love providing the setting for this culture to flourish in our day programs and in our residences. Some of our clients have waited years to move to a Danville residence, where family-like living is the norm. Whatever the level of care that is needed, it is our distinct privilege to serve our clients needs with the utmost care and respect.

DSPs Are Caring And Gifted People

Direct Support Professionals at Danville are everyday heroes who provide the necessary care for our clients to lead healthy and meaningful lives. Duties range from transportation to meal planning, skill development, behavior consultation, and more. We are fortunate to have over 1000 team members across our four-state network come to work with compassion and purpose, ready to use the skills required of them, often well out of the spotlight. Public Policy Impacts Care Levels Across The Industry

Danville services are funded through state and federal agencies designated to support individuals with disabilities. The federal and state allocations ultimately determine the level of services we are able to provide. Therefore, we are continually working with government officials to increase federal and state resources for our clients and for our front-line DSPs who support them. Individuals with disabilities have the same desires in life that you or I have, but they face multiple challenges to achieving them. The types of human services we offer are invaluable in helping them lead self-determined lives.
